With wonderful fields, old roads, and quaint buildings, the Inn is an interesting place to explore all year round.
Visitor's Guide
We encourage people to take advantage of the unstructured layout of our village-like campus: to walk the fields and trails, explore the Longfellow Garden, tour the Inn, Mill, and Schoolhouse, or sit for a picnic lunch next to Hop Brook. A 100-yard preserved section of the original Boston Post Road that runs right in front of the Inn, only steps from our 18th-century doorway. Wander westward, towards the Schoolhouse and Grist Mill, over the old stone bridge, and take a walk down history lane!
Large groups should contact the Museum Services Director Guy LeBlanc at 978/443-1776 to schedule a time to tour the property.
